KULA 54 is a UK-based snack brand bringing bold, nostalgic African flavours to the global stage. Launching with Mabuyu (candied baobab seeds) and Achari (candied mango), the brand blends authenticity with modern appeal across five vibrant flavours.
The Challenge
Design packaging that is clean yet eye-catching, premium yet playful — a confident balance between minimalism and Afrocentric flair. It should stand out on shelves, feel warm and natural, and reflect African culture in a subtle, modern way.
The Solution
A flexible label system that features:
- Bold earthy colours tied to each flavour
- Clean layouts with strong typography
- Subtle Afro-inspired textures (mudcloth, linework)
- Organic product window for natural appeal
The tone is honest, flavourful, and globally minded — future-proofed for new flavours and formats as the brand grows. KULA 54 packaging brings cultural storytelling to the snack aisle in a polished, shelf-ready way.
